PressReader App Review

I like to read the newspaper, but I seldom buy newspapers because of all the waste that accumulates.  I've taken to reading the majority of my news online, but it doesn't offer the same experience that reading a traditional newspaper does.

I recently downloaded PressReader onto my iPad and I'm loving it.  It is the best newspaper app I've used to date.  It really looks like a newspaper and it feels like I'm reading a newspaper - without the garbage, without the blackened fingertips, and as many newspapers as I want to read fit right inside my iPad.

If you're a casual reader, you can simply pay $.99 whenever you'd like to read a newspaper.  If you are a more avid newspaper reader, you can read whatever you want and however much you want for only $29.95 a month.  The newspaper options are plentiful - they offer over 2,000 papers from all around the world and in multiple languages.

It's available on iOS, Android, Blackberry, MacOS, and Windows, so no matter what device you use, you should be able to enjoy PressReader.

The interface is easy to use, so even if you're not tech savvy, you'll figure out how to use it right away.   It hasn't crashed or frozen for me yet, so it appears to be very stable.

They don't have every popular newspaper that I looked up which is the only downside, but I'm sure more will be added over time.

PressReader is perfect for anyone looking to keep up with their papers while reducing their waste.  Additionally, it's great for travelers who want to read on the airplane without taking up precious carry-on space with a newspaper, people who no longer have easy access to their favorite newspapers due to moving, or those who are seeking news sources in other languages.
