Safety trainings are usually included in the orientation phases of companies belonging to industries that constantly expose their workers to various health and safety hazards. Companies that work in construction, for example, constantly use dangerous equipment that puts its operator’s safety at risk. Hospital employees, on the other hand, often find themselves exposed to various kinds of infectious diseases that could prove to be deadly. But safety training isn’t just about keeping the worker safe, and they are necessary for several reasons:


1. It drives the company’s safety policies home and keeps employees safe at work.

Not all workers bother with reading work policies set by the company, so safety training actually forces them to hear and learn about these policies that are in place to help them.
