Change Your Bulb

As I write for my site by the pale moonlight, I pause and seem to remember the cause.  Save the planet through tech and share with the world the best of the best.  So I looked at the bulb that just burned out and realized what I needed to do without a doubt...other than stopping this rhyming.

Trim your electrical usage by replacing incandescent light bulbs with energy-efficient compact fluorescent bulbs, like the ones shown here. Some of the latest versions have the familiar shape of incandescent bulbs and can be deployed in spotlights and recessed lights as well as lamps and other fixtures.  Lighting accounts for close to 20 percent of the average home’s electric bill. ENERGY STAR qualified CFLs use up to 75 percent less energy (electricity) than incandescent light bulbs, last up to 10 times longer, cost little up front, and provide a quick return on investment.  So change that bulb.
