world's best cat litterworld's best cat litterIf you have cats, you've probably seen the World's Best Cat Litter for sale on Amazon and pet chains like Petco and Petsmart.  You might be thinking "wow, that's quite a claim!"  But, I've gotta say, it's darn good cat litter.

Most notably, it's made of whole corn kernels.  No gross synthetic perfumey scent, no puff of powder when you're pouring it into the box.  It's just good old fashioned corn grown on American farms.  And because it's made of corn, it's safe for animals, unlike many types of clay litters.

This litter really does somehow make the litter box less stinky.  It must trap the odors somehow.  It's also super easy to scoop, and because it's not clay, I don't feel like I need mask each time I change the littler box to keep from accidentally inhaling.  My cat likes the litter, too.  He's notoriously picky and will pee right next to the box if it's not to his liking, but he hasn't peed next to the box since we tried this litter.

The only downside is that the litter is a bit spendy.  On Amazon it retails for $15.77 for a 17 lb. bag.  Compare that to Arm and Hammer's cat litter which goes for $15.96 for a 28 lb. box on Amazon.  In spite of the price tag, it is likely worth it to many cat-owners.  I recommend it to owners of picky cats, people who live in smaller homes and want to keep odor to a minimum, and people or cats sensitive to traditional cat litters.  Give it a try!
